State Assembly Candidate Ed Perez
Receives Working Families Party Endorsement

Huntington, NY – New York State Assembly candidate Ed Perez has officially received the endorsement of the Working Families Party. Mr. Perez is running for New York State Assembly in the 10th District. He has received the endorsement of both the Democratic and Working Families Parties.

Mr. Perez stated, “I am honored to be running to represent the people of the 10th Assembly District with the backing of both the Democratic Party and Working Families Party.” Perez continued, “When elected, I will represent all the people of the 10th District, regardless of political party affiliation, always putting our community first.”

Emily Abbott, Long Island Political Director for the Working Families Party said, "Ed will serve in the State Assembly with integrity and fight everyday to create opportunities for the working families of Long Island.”

“Ed Perez has been a tremendous asset to his community as an entrepreneur and public servant who knows how to obtain positive results for all, this is why he has gained the endorsement of the Democratic Party,” stated Suffolk County Democratic Party Chairman Rich Schaffer.

Ed Perez is a social entrepreneur with over twenty-five years of experience in the non-profit sector. Currently, Ed is the President of Diversity Resource Network, a marketing consulting organization.

In addition, Ed has a depth of experience as a public servant in local government. He is currently part of the team at the Suffolk County Board of Elections and is a member of the Huntington Zoning Board of Appeals. Previously, Ed has served in Suffolk County government as the Director of Community Relations and the Director of the Office of Minority Affairs.

Mr. Perez earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in marketing management from Bernard M. Baruch College and resides in Huntington, where he lives with his wife. He has three adult children and a wonderful granddaughter. For more information about Mr. Perez, please visit EdPerez2016.com.
