(Long Island, NY) The Melville Chamber of Commerce named Councilwoman Susan A. Berland its “Business Advocate of the Year” at their “Welcome to the New Year Celebration” held on January 21, 2015. At the event, Councilwoman Berland spoke about the importance of being an advocate for businesses in Melville and across the Town of Huntington, as well as her strong relationship with the Melville Chamber. “I’m honored that the Chamber presented me with the ‘Business Advocate of the Year award,’” commented Councilwoman Berland. “I truly believe that advocacy is one of the most important responsibilities of my job and it is a pleasure to advocate for the wonderful businesses we have in Melville, the amazing Melville Chamber and all of our business throughout the Town.”
